Two rounds ago, they played a very bad game against Arizona and suffered a 2-5 defeat. In the last round, they put a shovel on it and brought a convincing 3-0 win over Ottawa. The St. Louis Blues are four points behind second-placed Winnipeg, with league leaders Vegas not holding much of a lead.
Seven points can be easily caught up in a short time. However, it is questionable whether the blues can always deliver good games. At the beginning of this year they were in a negative series of three defeats in a row. Then they put a shovel on it and brought in the ensuing duels three wins. The only defeat they conceded from Arizona and at home.

Colorado Avalanche
Colorado have been fantastic lately and in the last round they conceded their first defeat in 2018. The winning streak they started at the end of last year with the win against Toronto, after which they were brilliant in the ensuing duels. They have scored ten consecutive wins and are currently the team with the best form of play in the league. They have used the good game plan as well as possible and are now in the upper half of the table. If they continue to deliver games like they have done lately, they should not have any trouble getting into the playoff.
