After the home defeat of Dallas, Boston recorded in the subsequent five duels equal to so many victories. The positive series they launched against Montreal and led them further away at the New York Islanders. Also in the next round they were better again as Montreal, but this time away. The fourth win in a row they took home against the New Jersey Devils at home. In the last round, they once again delivered an excellent match, away from Ottawa.
Since the season opener Boston delivers brilliant games and thus occupied the second table position of the Eastern Conference. They are five points behind leader Lightning and, together with Washington, are currently the main favorites for the title. They have used the bad games of Lightning in their own favor, thus reducing the backlog. They perform particularly well at home, where they have suffered only one defeat in the last eight duels and after extensions of Dallas.

Anaheim Ducks
The Ducks have recorded four wins and one defeat in the last five matches. They have beaten very good teams, like the Los Angeles Kings, the Rangers and Winnipeg. All these five duels, however, they put off at home. Their big problem is away games, especially the last four rounds. They conceded three defeats from Edmonton, Calgary and Colorado and won against the Los Angeles Kings. In the Western Conference, the current season is very interesting and many teams are fighting for the playoff.
