Real Madrid – Valencia / Euroleague – The Spanish derby, which takes place during the 13th round of the Euroleague, will welcome Real Madrid Valencia at home. These two teams have played only five matches in the Euroleague, all five in the playoffs 2011. Real celebrated then 3-2 in series. Currently, the Madrid are eighth in the table, with six wins and six defeats, while Valencia occupy 14th place (3-9). Same result as Valencia have Anadolu Efes and Table One Milan.

Real Madrid
It is interesting that Real played more matches against Valencia in the domestic competitions last season than in the Euroleague. They recorded victories in four out of seven matches, including in the final of the royal cup, while they remained without the championship title of Spain. They have already begun their rematch for the defeat in the final of the Spanish championship in mid-October, when they celebrated in the away game of the Endesa Liga. With 18 points Randolph was the most efficient player, while Doncic was the best player with 16 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds.
Besides Llull, Kuzmic and Ayon, Randolph is also injured and we miss this match, but Doncic should be there. With 16 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds, he deserves the biggest merit that they were able to finish their negative series of three defeats in the last round. They celebrated easily against Barcelona (87:75). Real opened the season with 4-0, but has triumphed only twice in the last eight duels. Doncic is the best player (index 27.7), while he is with 20.5 points on average the second best shooter of the Euroleague. With eleven victories and a defeat on the account they are the leaders in the Endesa Liga and celebrated in the last round at Obradoiro 102: 93.

Valencia
Valencia lost twice in the final last season in the Royal Cup against Real and in the Eurocup against Unicaja, but today’s visitors have won their first Spanish title in history after being better than Real Madrid in the final. They opened the Euroleague season very well (3-1), but then followed a negative series and they even conceded eight defeats. In the last round, they lost in the home game against Crvena Zvezda 82:86, although Dubljevic returned after his recovery in the team.
He scored four points and 10 rebounds, but they could not stand the pressure and were eventually defeated. The absence of playmaker Diot represents a major handicap for the team. Williams has not played in this Euroleague season and also Sastre is injured. Garcia (Zaragoza) was brought into the team and should debut in this match. Unlike Euroleague, they play quite well in the Endesa Liga and take second place (9-3). In the last four rounds, they have lost two matches but have outclassed Gipuzkoa 86:64 in the last round. Martinez was the most efficient player with 24 points.

Real Madrid – Valencia TIP
It’s interesting that Martinez and Reyes are the only players in the mentioned 2011 Euroleague duels (Llull was there at the time, but is now injured). Both teams have to give up some important players who are injured or not yet fit to play, which is why we chose this tip.

Our Prediction:Valencia win @ 1.67
