K. Edmund
The young British tennis player K. Edmund made a real ATP progress last season. His best finish was in 2016, when he was in 40th place. He entered the Australian Open from 48th position, while his appearance in Melbourne will certainly lead to further progress on the world rankings.
At the beginning of the year Edmund played in Brisbane, where he moved into the quarter-finals and was defeated there by G. Dimitrov. Also in the quarter-finals of the Australian Open, the players met each other when Edmund could return the favor. He moved into the semi-finals after four sets. Statistically, he was better in all game segments, while also scoring more winners (46:32).

M. Cilic
The quarterfinal match between Cilic and Nadal was one of the best games of this Australian Open. Nadal gave up, which does not diminish the success of Cilic in any case. Cilic was an equal opponent the whole time and made the best player in the world really struggling. Nadal was twice in a row with an advantage, but Cilic did not give up and in the end won the reward.
In the end, only the percentage of the first premium (75%: 67%) was in favor of Nadal, while in all other segments Cilic was more successful. He was in the realization of the first serve with 10% in the advantage, while he had by his aggressive style of play also more directly scored points (83:39), but also twice as many unforced errors (62:32).
K. Edmund – M. Cilic TIP
Today’s rivals have only met once, last season at the Masters tournament in Shanghai, when Cilic won (6: 3 7: 6). Cilic is here in the role of favorite, but Edmund should not be underestimated. The Briton has a great serve and can parry the Croatia. We expect an uncertain match, which should have more than three sentences.

Our Prediction: M.Cilic win @ 1.63
