Toronto Maple Leafs
After 55 games, Toronto is in third place in the Eastern Conference, eight points fewer than the leading Lightning. Today’s hosts are playing really well this season and are the third most efficient team in the league, just behind Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Islanders. They played very well in the first half of the season and then went into crisis at the beginning of this year. The program was also relatively cheap. They played six games in a row at home, but brought only two victories.
The series of four consecutive defeats ended at Ottawa while they lost to Colorado at home. Toronto has big problems in front of its own fans in the game. It looks a lot better on the away side and Toronto are the best guest team in the Eastern Conference after Lightning. In the last two home games, however, the Toronto players scored two wins. First they won against the New York Islanders 5-0 and then against the Anaheim Ducks 7: 4. In the last six games they achieved five victories.

Nashville Predators
Nashville is only three points behind Vegas, and if the Predators continue to play like that, they will be their main rivals alongside Winnipeg. They have the best defense in the Western Conference and are therefore also at the top of the table. In addition, the attack is not bad either. How good they are is proven by the last 11 rounds in which they lost only once.
The series of five wins in a row ended the guests by home defeat against Lightning, after the extensions. Afterwards, they won away to the Devils while they lost at home. This time against Chicago Blackhawks. In the past three games, the Predators have been very efficient, scoring five goals per game, while scoring just as many wins. At first, they were better at home than the Kings and the Rangers, after which they won at home against the New York Islanders. They also play well away from home where they have won the last three games.
Toronto Maple Leafs – Nashville Predators TIP
Toronto has a negative earnings record at home against the Predators. The hosts have won only once in their last five games. They play better away from home this season away from home and that’s why we see the Predators at their advantage here.
