Vancouver Canucks
Vancouver finished last season on the penultimate table of the Western Conference, which is why the team has seen several changes in the summer. The fans now expected a better season, but the Canucks are barely able to make the playoffs after their previous performances. At the moment, they are 16 points fewer than the eight-ranked Calgary, so chances for a play-off are minimal. It would be a miracle if they ended up in the top eight teams.
In the last five games they only achieved one victory. That was in the last round away at Dallas. The series of four defeats was ended by a clear 6-0 win over the stars. That was the best match of Vancouver so far. Already after the first third, the hosts were 3-0 in the lead and decided the game. By the end, they have only increased the lead and finally won a clear victory. After four guest performances, it is now back home.

Florida Panthers
Florida was in crisis late last month and suffered three consecutive defeats against Nashville, Dallas and Washington. Then it went uphill and the team scored five wins and lost only once. The winning streak started at the New York Islanders away, then continued at Buffalo and then home. There, first the Detroit Red Wings and then Vancouver were defeated.

The series was ended by the home defeat against the Los Angeles Kings. But that did not really bother the Panthers and they beat Edmonton 5: 7 in the last round. It was a very exciting game that the guests had mastered better. The hero was Vincent Trocheck, who scored three goals. Dadonov was also good and scored two goals. Florida have won two of the last three away games and the team has a good atmosphere

Our Prediction: Florida Panthers win @ 1.95
