UEFA Nations League Betting Odds – Division A – Group 1

The UEFA Nations League is one of the few competitions not affected by coronavirus, at least so far, due to start in early September. Recently, there was the draw that established the groups of each division, so we decided to make a brief presentation of each nation involved in the competition. This article is dedicated to Group 1 of Division A.

• Netherlands

The Dutch representative is on an upward trend, after failing to qualify for EURO in 2016 and 2018, respectively the World Championship. This seems to have a great value generation again, with which it can achieve important performances. Recently, she qualified for the European tournament to be held in 2021, finishing in second place in a group with Germany, Northern Ireland, Belarus and Estonia. In the previous edition of the League of Nations shone, this first winning a group with France and Germany, then reaching the final phase of the competition, first passing England in the semifinals, but eventually losing to Portugal in the last act.

It is one of the most important national teams in the history of football, with an extremely rich record, getting used to it every time with remarkable performances. Like the Netherlands, the Italian representative missed the qualification at the 2018 World Cup, for the first time after 60 years. He also disappointed in the League of Nations, finishing second in the group, over Poland, but under Portugal. But one can be proud of an increase in form, obviously, and value, taking into account the fact that in the preliminary EURO parade, winning a group with Finland, Greece, Bosnia, Armenia and Liechtenstein, winning all ten games. According to the betting agencies, the national team prepared by Roberto Mancini receives a 2.40 odds to win the group.

• Bosnia and Herzegovina

It is considered the outsider of this group, with odds of 18.00 for the first place ranking and, implicitly, the accession in the final phase of the League of Nations. In the previous edition, it impressed, finishing first in a group with Austria and Northern Ireland. In the preliminaries for the European Championship he did not shine, finishing in fourth place in the group, so he hopes for good performances at the dam, where he will face Northern Ireland in the first phase.

• Poland

It is a national that has a pretty good lot, with which it can hope for important performances. With a Robert Lewandowski in good shape, the Polish representative could face any opponent, but, rightly, he has many shortcomings, which is why bookmakers give him a 6.25 odds to win this group. At the last edition of the League of Nations, he finished under Portugal and Italy, and normally he should have relegated, but was saved by changing the format of the competition. Like the Netherlands and Italy, Poland also qualified for the EURO, having won without a group emotion with Austria, Slovenia, Israel, Macedonia and Latvia.
