La Liga Free Betting Tips (1st matchday)

Eight weeks after the end of the 2019/20 season, the Spanish La Liga started the new season. When the ball is rolling again in Spain on Friday evening, the COVID-19 issue will unfortunately still be a constant companion. While the stadiums still have to remain empty, short-term game cancellations cannot be ruled out in the event of infections in a team or its vicinity.

The first day of the week will go on independently in a slimmed-down form. Because the top four of last season are still paused due to their long appearances in August in the Champions League and Europa League. The games between defending champions Real Madrid and Getafe FC, between FC Barcelona and Elche FC, and the top match
Atletico Madrid vs Sevilla FC will not be played until 2021.

Nevertheless, and despite the conditions that are still far from ideal, especially for the fans, there is still joy in Spain for the new season. On the first weekend, the clubs that are otherwise not in the forefront receive increased attention. With us too, because of course, we picked out three games again for the first betting prediction of the new season.

Granada CF vs Athletic Bilbao

Granada CF vs Athletic Bilbao Free Betting Tips

It was only five points to the international ranks, but the fact that the bottom line was the only eleventh place and Europe was missed was unquestionably a disappointment for Athletic Bilbao. The Basques are now aiming for a return to the international stage, but have so far not been able to land any new external entrants. Only players from their offspring and recently loaned professionals expand the possibilities of coach Gaizka Garitano, who can still hope that Javi Martinez will return from Bayern Munich.

Just in the sixth place in the table, targeted by Bilbao, the FC Granada landed in the preseason, which is facing an unusual double burden with the Europa League. Granada tackles this with a largely unchanged squad, whereby it has been possible to keep the recently loaned Jesus Vallejo, Maxime Gonalons, and Dimitri Foulquier and to bring a promising reinforcement on board with Kenedy from Chelsea.

Overall, we still see Bilbao a bit stronger. A Basque opening win seems a little more likely to us.

Valencia CF vs Levante UDValencia CF vs Levante UD Free Betting Tips

Date: Sunday, 13.09.2020

After finishing fourth in the previous season and reaching the round of 16 of the Champions League last year, FC Valencia 2020/21 is not represented internationally. After a turbulent season with two coach changes, it was only enough to achieve a disappointing ninth place. Now Valencia wants to play a better role again with the new coach Javi Gracia, which is not easy after the serious departures of striker Rodrigo Moreno (Leeds United), top talent Ferran Torres (Manchester City), and director Dani Parejo (Villarreal CF) should fall. Especially not because the tight coffers on the transfer market have so far not allowed any big leaps.

UD Levante, Valencia’s city rivals, has meanwhile met expectations and is largely on target as twelfth in the table. The primary goal is now again not to have anything to do with the relegation if possible. Jorge de Frutos and Dani Gómez, who came from Real Madrid but played no role in the first team, should also contribute.

Even if Valencia has lost quality, we see the hosts as favorites at the start of the derby. Valencia still has more class in the squad and should get three points at the start.

Deportivo Alaves vs Betis SevillaDeportivo Alaves vs Betis Sevilla Free Betting Tips

Date: Monday, 09/14/2020

As neighbors in the table in positions 16 and 15, i.e. just before the relegation zone, Deportivo Alaves and Betis Sevilla finished last season. While in Alaves one could be satisfied with it because of the manageable financial resources in the league comparison, Betis had calculated significantly more, not least because of the investments in the recent past. The green-whites were forced to be a bit more cautious when it came to newcomers, but with goalkeeper Claudio Bravo and defenders Martín Montoya and Victor Ruiz three veterans were brought in from abroad to stabilize the defensive. The new coach Manuel Pellegrini, who has a well-known midfield with William Carvalho, Nabil Fekir, and Sergio Canales, now has to create a functioning team from the existing quality.

Ideally, of course, in Alaves, which among other things has brought Deyverson back from Brazil and has gained an Argentinian midfield engine in Rodrigo Battaglia. Nonetheless, Alaves will presumably have another long fight against relegation, which the team with the new coach Pablo Machin can certainly master.

In the beginning, we see Betis as stronger and expect an away win.
